Are you interested in learning the basics of pottery wheel throwing?
Join our 8-week Beginners Wheel Classes where you will learn the following:

Items you will learn to make:
  • Straight-sided cylinders
  • Bowls
  • Plates (if time allows)

Techniques you will learn:
  • Wedging clay using one of the 3 main methods
  • Centring clay on the wheel head
  • Opening and raising walls of a clay form
  • Attaching a bat to the wheel head
  • Turning the bottom of a form to create a foot
