Jo-Anne Hare
I have been a prolific potter since 2014, from my first bowl thrown on the wheel I was hooked.
I started out mainly doing domestic ware, which I still love. After 2 years doing a Ceramics and Glaze diploma I expanded to hand building and making some of my own glazes. I love that hand made pieces are all slightly different and that people who choose to use such pieces appreciate the items for what they are. I teach beginners and my goals are to teach good solid techniques, the basics that will set them up to achieve their creative goals. I refer to it as teaching the A, B, C’s so that they can write their own pottery story |
