Margaret Hunt

Margaret has been making ceramics for many years. She tutors adult classes for the Ōtaki Pottery Club.

Margaret has attained the Diploma of Ceramic Arts in Level 5, 6, and 7.

She has exhibited her work in many exhibitions during the years.

Margaret's pottery is made using a variety of clays, and firing in both gas and electric kilns. Her work is creative and diverse, being both decorative and domestic ware. Her work is made with care and enjoyment in many styles and finishing techniques. Some of these are printing, stamping, shellac, using slip, mishima and whatever else inspires her.  The pottery is made for others to enjoy and use.
