Ōtaki Pottery Club would like to thank all those who attended and participates in this years festival. It was inspiring to see how much mahi went into each exhibitors display and the results were well received and appreciated. We are happy to share with you the following recipients of this years award winners.

Bot Pots Matariki Ceramic awards - Auckland
These awards are for a display with impact that enhances your work. There must be something in the display that reflects a concept/attributes of Matariki.
These concepts might include remembrance, honouring those we have lost since the last rising of Matariki, celebrating the present by giving thanks for what we have, and looking to the future with anticipation for the promise of a new year.
1st prize: $300 (vouchers) Aimee McLoad
2nd prize: $150 (vouchers) Sarah Bromley
3rd prize: $50 (vouchers) JoJo Hare

Star Glaze Matariki Emerging Ceramic Artist Award
An emerging ceramic artist who is developing an original and creative style with skill.
This award will be in the form of a mentoring programme. This award was made possible by the koha that visitors donated during the event.
This year's Emerging Ceramic Artist is Kylie Jurgensen
