We had a great day for the club raku. It would have been easier if the gas supply had arrived but Caitlin and Jeavons got into action keeping us supplied with 9kg cylinders. Thanks also to Connor at Otaki Hammer Hardware who stepped into the breach. Sandra Sinclair came well prepared to demonstrate Obvara and it wasn't long before others were joining in. Neil Hey quietly worked away with his kiln 
showing us how a master worked! Thank you to everyone who helped and took part, especially Val Waugh and Jenny Rose (an old hand) who arrived early and were still there at the end. It was a fun day.

People were asking if they could get together in a small group to raku so this request will go forward to the committee for consideration.
