Tile Competition - closing date extended

The tile competition is off to a great start with many of you busy creating your tile. Thank you, Brent, for organising and running this. It will be interesting to see the results. Please don't think you can only make a tile for the competition; we would love to see all members make a tile for the tile wall.

The competition closing date is now August 1 st however tiles will be accepted for the rest of that month for the wall.

Congratulations to Caitlin Taylor (President) and Sue Wilson (Vice President). The club is in good hands. Caitlin and Sue have a real passion and strong vision to lead the club into the next season.

Welcome back to Margaret Hunt, Stephanie Tidman and Lynne Corkin. Great to see Allie McHugo, Wendy Ransfield, Ann Porter (Treasurer) Jojo Hare and Neil Hey join the team.

All that is needed now is for someone to step up and fill the role of Secretary (which under the “team” system will not be onerous.) If this is something that you can assist with, please contact Caitlin. It is unfair to expect Caitlin to continue as Secretary when she is putting her energy into the role of president. While Derryn has stepped down from the committee she still remains part of the finance team.

Brent and I both received our “gold watches”.
